What are common complications and side effects of neuromodulator injections? 

Side effects are rare but may include headaches and minor bruising. Allergic reactions are uncommon. 

How long will my Botox/Xeomin last? 

For most people, results last three to four months. However, Botox is dose-dependent so this time frame follows the FDA recommended dosing.

Will I still be able to show expression or will I have a frozen face?

 Yes, you will still be able to show expression. My goal is to keep you looking as natural as possible but just a more refreshed version of yourself.

Can you help me decide what I should do first?

How much does it cost?

How long before I see results with Botox/Xeomin? 

Some people may see results in 48 hours but it can take up to 14 days to see the full results.

Are there any restrictions regarding hyaluronic acid dermal filler including face and lip fillers?

We ask that you wait a minimum of two (preferably 4) weeks before or after any vaccines, infections or dental procedures.

Will I bruise? 

Many people walk away without bruising. However, your face is full of blood vessels and bruising whenever a needle is used is possible.

Where do you perform treatments? 

Lola Aesthetics has a private office space in Freeport, ME available by appointment. 

What is the downtime after microneedling?

Downtime is individual, but we say 24 hours.  Redness and mild sweilling last for 24-48 hours but you can begin using suncreen 24 hours after your treatment.

Can I get microneedling and peels in the summer?

Yes!  You just need to be a bit more careful with sunscreen and staying out of the direct sun.
